Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunoreactivity in the substantia nigra pars compacta of a rat. TH is used as a marker for dopamine neuron cell bodies and neurites. Photomicrographs by M.Sc Anna‐Maija Penttinen and obtained with 3DHISTECH scanner.
