This paper presents a magnetic core model that accounts the effects due to nonlinearity, hysteresis and eddy currents. The model is suited to circuit simulation and can be implemented as a subcircuit. To test the proposed implementation the results obtained by simulating a power square wave generator (Royer oscillator) have been compared with measurements on a laboratory prototype.
