This paper presents new techniques coupling uncertainty propagation with the transmission‐line matrix method. This improves the quality of electromagnetic simulation. The reason is that in this case the solution provides not only the average field value but also the associated covariances. This is very useful when incomplete or uncertain information is inherent to the problem. The technique is much faster than regular Monte Carlo simulations, which are used in other methods.
