A simple method of moment numerical scheme is adopted to study the crosstalk characteristics of printed circuit board. Both strip lines and microstrips PCB configurations are investigated. The results indicate that with the ground plane closer to the signal line, the crosstalk voltages can be reduced. Furthermore, the non‐synchronization due to difference in mode velocities can also be reduced. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
