The letter highlights that many research‐active radiographers and radiation therapists choose to publish their work in journals that may not be specific for the radiography or radiation therapy professions. Hence, it is difficult to identify the volume and quality of work that is published by professionals in these two disciplines. It is well established that the work published by selected journals, specific to these professions, only provides a very limited snapshot of the actual research output in the literature.
