The 2‐step synthesis of [ 14 C]sodium ferrocyanide decahydrate is described. Ferrous hydroxide was prepared from iron powder and then reacted with [ 14 C]sodium cyanide to afford the product. The [ 14 C]sodium ferrocyanide decahydrate was characterized by HPLC and 13 C NMR.
