The effect of external gamma‐ and internal beta ‐irradiation on the aqueous solutions of unlabelled and 3 H labelled preparations of thymidine and uridine was investigated within the concentration range 10 −4 ‐ 2.10 −2 M. From these investigations corresponding D/50 and G i (‐M) values of labelled and unlabelled preparations obtained in very dilute solutions (up to 5.10 3 ‐ 10 −2 M) were discussed.
