N‐(Methyl‐ 14 C)‐valin wurde durch Methylierung von N‐Tosyl‐valin mit Methyljodid‐ 14 C dargestellt. Die chemische Ausbeute bzw. radiochemische Ausbeute lag bei 44% bzw. 23 %. Die spezifische Aktivität lag bei 0,125 mCi/mM. (=specifische Aktivität der verwendeten Methyljodids).
