35 S‐(5′‐Deoxyadenosine‐5′)‐L‐methionine ( 35 S‐adenosylmethionine, C 15 H 23 N 6 O 5 S + ) has been isolated in useful amounts from yeast cells which were cultivated in a medium containing 35 SO —‐ 4 . Procedures for purification and analysis are reported.
