N‐[N‐[3‐(diphenylphosphino)propionyl]glycyl]‐L‐cysteine methyl ester a BFCA for the synthesis of rhenium and technetium‐99m OXO‐complexes

PN 2 S coordinate around ReO 3+ and TcO 3+ cores producing TcO(PN 2 S) complexes with the ligand acting as tetradentate in the equatorial plane in respect to MO. Two isomers of PN 2 S‐CO 2 Me have been evidentiated assuming sin ‐ anti positions of the methyl ester group in respect to MO. Labelling experiments with 99m TcO 4 − and Sn(II)‐gluconate, carried out in mild conditions, showed a single compound in high yields referred to the species 99m TcO(PN 2 S).
