[(U‐ 14 C) S‐Ribosyl]‐L‐homocysteine has been prepared enzymatically from (U‐ 14 C) adenosine in two steps using S‐adenosyl homocysteine hydrolase (EC.3.31.1) and bacterial S‐adenosyl homocysteine nucleosidase (EC.3.2.2.9) as catalysts.
