Novel or improved synthesis of six deuterated 1‐alkenes (1‐hexene‐[3,3‐ 2 H 2 ], 5‐methyl‐1‐hexene‐[3,3‐ 2 H 2 ], 1‐pentene‐[1,1,2‐ 2 H 3 ], 1‐hexene‐ [2‐ 2 H], 1‐hexene‐[1,1,3,3‐ 2 H 4 ] and 1‐hexene‐[1,1,2,3,3‐ 2 H 5 ]) are reported. The isotopic purities of these labelled alkenes were 99, 99, 92, 99, 76 and 86%, respectively.
