Ruthenocenoyl‐glycine derivatives labelled with radioactive ruthenium ( 97 Ru, 103 Ru), showing a clearance similar to Hippuran, are potential radiopharmaceuticals. Synthesis, reaction mechanism and identification of ruthenocenoyl‐1, 1′‐diglycine derivatives are described.
