Abstract The synthesis of 3‐chloro‐4‐methyl‐[4‐ 14 C]‐7‐hydroxy‐coumarin from ethyl [3‐ 14 C] acetoacetat is described. The overall radiochemical yield was 46%, after purification, at a specific activity of 5 mCi/mmol.
