An efficient and practical synthesis of deuterium‐labelled bicifadine, together with 3 deuterium‐labelled bicifadine metabolites, was developed. The levels of deuterium incorporation are high, and the products were used as internal standards in bioanalytical method development and clinical bioanalysis.
