A final comment : We regret that Rosenberg and Tiffany in their response (1) apparently considered our letter (2) about immunohistochemical reactivity of the monoclonal antibody EG2 as criticism of their excellent work (3). Our intention was simply to help explain their biochemical findings in terms of immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical staining performance of EG2 in the light of recent information (4).
