Two further new oligoglycosides sulfates named pectinioside E ( 1 ) and F ( 2 ) were isolated from aqueous extracts of the whole bodies of Asterina pectinifera Müller et Troschel, after separation by column chromatography on silica gel, RP‐8, and Sephadex LH‐20. Their structures have been elucidated by chemical and spectroscopic means. In addition, we examined the antitumor effect of pectiniosides A, B, C, D, E, and F against murine lymphoma L1210 cells and human epidermoid carcinoma KB cells in vitro.
