Rearrangement of Diacylamines Containing N ‐Protected Amino Acids A new rearrangement of diacylamines containing N ‐protected amino acids has been discovered. The structures of two rearrangement products – N ‐benzoyl‐ N ‐(benzyloxycarbonyl)glycinanilide ( 4a ) and N ‐benzoyl‐ N ‐[(1,1‐dimethylethoxy)carbonyl]glycinanilide ( 4b ) – were solved by X‐ray analysis.
