Synthesis of Chloroformamidines and 1,3‐Oxazin‐4‐ones from Oxocarbonyl Chlorides Reaction of the 2‐oxocarbonyl chlorides 2a – c , 4a – c , and 6a, b with the nitriles 1a – n gives the chloroformamidines 3a – h, 5a – r, 7a – f , and 8a – d . 2,4‐Dichloroacetoacetyl chloride ( 9 ) reacts with the nitriles 1a, c, e , and f to afford the oxazinones 10a – d .
