An Improved Preparation of 2‐Pyrrolecarbaldehydes from 2‐Methylpyrroles Reaction of 2‐methylpyrroles with lead(IV) acetate in chloroform affords 2‐pyrrolecarbaldehydes with improved yields. Namely the yields of pyrrolecarbaldehydes with unsubstituted ring positions are increased efficiently.
