The roots of two provenances of Anthemis cretica ssp. cretica afforded in addition to two known derivatives five new isofraxidin‐derived sesquiterpene ethers 3 – 7 . All new compounds are characterized by bicyclic keto‐sesquiterpene moieties. The structures were elucidated mainly by 1 H NMR spectroscopy and the absolute configurations were determined by circular dichroism.
