New Derivatives of Chrysanthemic Acid by Deprotonation – Alkylation Applying an excess of lithium diisopropylamide, methyl chrysanthemate ( 2 ) could be deprotonated and, by adding suited electrophiles, converted into new 1‐substituted methyl chrysanthemates 3 in good yields.
