Durch katalytische Druckhydrierung von Chromeno‐[3.4:b]‐chromon (I) werden erstmalig hergestellt: 5a.11a‐Dihydro‐5‐hydroxy‐chromeno‐[3.4:b]‐chromen (II), 5a.11a‐Dihydro‐Δ 5(5a) ‐chromeno‐[3.4:b]‐chromen (IV), 5a.11a‐Dihydro‐chromeno‐[3.4:b]‐chromon (V) und 5a.11a‐Dihydro‐chromeno‐[3.4:b]‐chromen (VII).
