Previously unknown azomethylene derivatives of 4‐chloro‐5 H ‐1,2,3‐dithiazole 5–7 were synthesized by the reaction of the Appel salt 1 with N ‐monosubstituted hydrazones 2–4. It was shown that they could be transformed into heterocyclic compounds 8–10.
