This paper describes the synthesis of 2‐substituted‐4(3 H )‐oxopyrimido[4,5‐ a ]anthraquinone, 2‐substi‐tuted‐4‐hydrazinopyrimido[4,5‐a]anthraquinones, several 2‐substituted‐1,2,4‐triazolo[4,3‐ c ]pyrimido[4,5‐ a ]‐anthraquinones tetrazolo[4,5‐ c ]pyrimido[4,5‐ a ]anthraquinones and pyrazolinopyrimidoanthraquinone derivatives.
