Two benzo[ c:d' ]diisothiazoles, 8‐methylbenzo[1,2‐ c :5,6‐ d' ]diisothiazole and 3‐methylbenzo[1,2‐ c :6,5‐ d' ]diisothiazole, have been made by reaction of appropriate aminomethyl‐1,2‐benzisothiazoles with N ‐sulfinylmeth‐anesulfonamide.
