Synthèse univoque du nitro‐2 methoxy‐3 benzofuranne et des naphtofurannes correspondants

Les méthoxy‐3 arénofurannes sont obtenus avec de bons rendements globaux à partir de la coumaronne‐3, des trois naphtofurannones isomères correspondantes et de la méthoxy‐7 naphto[2,1‐ b ]furannone‐1 par car‐bométhylation suivie de saponification et de décarboxylation. Leur nitration régio‐sélective en position 2 est assurée en les traitant successivement par du t ‐butyllithium, du chlorure de triméthyl étain et du tétranitro‐méthane.
