Abstract Based upon the structural similarities of cannabinoid derivatives which inhibit the biosynthesis of prostaglandins with those of the potent inhibitor, indomethacin, several cannabinoid derivatives possessing C‐3 side chain carboxylic acid functionalities were prepared.
