A novel serotonin antagonist, 2,2′‐bis[3‐(2‐ N,N ‐dimethylaminoethyl)indolyl]sulfide (BDIS) was synthesized in one step from the reaction of N,N ‐dimethyltryptamine with thionyl chloride.
