Several novel estradiol‐17α‐triazolines were synthesized and tested in vitro for anabolic‐catabolic acitivity and binding affinity to steroid receptors. While no binding affinity to steroid receptors was detected, due to the presence of a bulky triazoline ring in the 17α‐position of the steroidal nucleus, the products showed almost the same catabolic properties exhibited by estrone.
