The preparation of 5‐methyl‐3,5‐dimethyl‐ and 3,4,5‐trimethyl‐l[2′‐(5′‐nitrothienyl)]pyrazoles from thienylhydrazines are described. The 1 H‐nmr spectra of these compounds are discussed.
