The synthesis of all the isomers of pyreno[ b ]thiophene namely, pyreno[1,2‐ b ]thiophene, pyreno[2,1‐ b ]thiophene and pyreno[4,5‐ b ]thiophene is described. Their spectral characteristics are also discussed.
