The cyclization of 3,5′‐dichloro‐2′‐phenoxypropionanilide ( 2 ) to a trimeric cyclohexane 4 and of 4‐bromo‐5′‐chloro‐2′‐phenoxybutyranilide ( 1 ) to a tetracyclic pyrrolooxazepine 5 is reported.
