The synthesis of 3‐cyclohexyl‐6,7‐dimethoxy‐1 H ‐4‐cinnolone ( 4 ), 4‐chloro‐3‐cyclohexyl‐6,7‐dimethoxycinnoline ( 5 ) and 8‐bromo‐3‐cyclohexyl‐6,7‐dimethoxy‐1 H ‐4‐cinnolone ( 6 ) are reported.
