Several octahydroindolizines including the four geometrical isomers of 3‐butyl‐5‐methyloctahydroindolizine, which is an attractant of Pharaoh's and [ Monomorium pharaonis (L.)], have been examined by 1 H and 13 C nmr spectroscopy. The conformations of these compounds are discussed.
