The 13 C nmr chemical shifts of a series of 2‐methyl‐3‐(3,4‐dimethoxy/dihydroxyphenylethyl)‐4‐quinazolones are reported. The carbon resonances have been assigned on the basis of chemical shift theory, intensity of the signals, multiplicities generated in SFORD spectra and the comparison with the structurally related compounds.
