The 13 C nmr ehemieal shifts of 1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroisoquinoline, salsolidine and laudanosine are reported. The various carbon resonances have been assigned on the basis of chemical shift theory, intensity of the signals, multiplicities generated in SFORD spectra and the comparison with model compounds.
