Cyclizations of 1,5‐diphenyl[1,2,4]triazole‐3‐carbohydrazide 1 and the thiosemicarbazide 2 (derived from 1 by addition to phenylisothiocyanate) under various conditions afforded novel biheterocyclic systems. The newly prepared compounds were screened for their antibacterial activity . The results showed that several of these compounds exhibited significant antibacterial activity . J.
