A novel imidazo[4′,5′:3,4]pyrazolo[5,1‐ c ][1,2,4]triazine‐4,8‐dione heterocyclic system was synthesized starting from available 4‐amino‐6‐ tert ‐butyl‐3‐methylthio‐1,2,4‐triazin‐5(4 H )‐one in four steps with 28% overall yield.
