A simple three‐components reaction between alkynes, primary amines, and isothiocyanates in the presence of nanophase ZnO catalysts in aqueous medium at room temperature is reported which produced 1,3‐thiazolidine derivatives in good yields. Particularly valuable features of this method include high yields of products, broad substrate scope, short reaction time, and straightforward procedure.
