A series of trans ‐2,3‐dihydrofuro[3,2‐ c ]coumarins ( 4 ) has been synthesized by a one‐pot multicomponent reaction by aromatic aldehydes, 4‐hydroxycoumarin, α‐tosyloxyketones, and pyridine using triethylamine as catalysts in acetonitrile. The synthesized compounds were then screened for their antioxidant and anthelmintic activities.
