An efficient and convenient synthesis of tris(arylazo) derivatives of novel heterocyclic ring system, namely, 1 H ‐bis‐imidazo[1,2‐ b :2′,1′‐ e ]pyrazole, is described. The structures of the compounds prepared and their tautomeric structure were elucidated on the basis of their elemental analyses and spectral data in addition to correlation of their acidity constants by Hammett equation. The mechanism of the studied reactions and their site selectivity are discussed.
