Three‐component coupling of aldehydes, malononitrile, and thiophenols has efficiently been carried out at room temperature using potassium fluoride on alumina (KF·Al 2 O 3 ) as a catalyst to furnish highly substituted pyridines in high yields. J. Heterocyclic Chem., (2009).
