Pyranoquinoline derivatives have been synthesized via three‐component reaction of 4‐hydroxy‐1‐methyl‐2(1 H )‐quinolinone and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates in the presence of nucleophiles such as alkyl isocyanides and triphenylphosphine.
