A simple and efficient three component process for the synthesis of 2‐amino‐2‐chromenes utilizing the reaction of aryl aldehydes 1a , 1b , 1c , 1d , 1e , 1f , 1g , 1h with active methylenes 2a,b and 1‐naphthol 3 in refluxing ethanol/piperidine under microwave‐heating is described.
