Trapezial ridge fractures are very rare. These can be a diagnostic challenge and one needs to have a high index of suspicion. We report two cases of trapezial ridge fractures that were diagnosed sonographically and confirmed by cross‐sectional imaging (CT or MRI). © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
