Sclerosing angiomatoid nodular transformation (SANT) is a recently recognized benign vascular lesion of the spleen. There is limited information regarding its imaging findings of this condition. Until now, the diagnosis was based on histopathologic examination of splenectomy specimens. We report the sonographic findings in a case of SANT of the spleen confirmed by ultrasound‐guided core needle biopsy. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound 2009
