We report a case of esophageal web demonstrated with sonography in a 45‐year‐old woman with dysphagia. The esophageal web was incidentally detected as a circumferential hypoechoic membrane on sonograms of the cervical esophagus. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound 34:134–137, 2006
