The antenatal sonographic appearance of gastroschisis is described. The findings consist of numerous extra‐abdominal „cystic masses” representing loops of fluid‐filled bowel eviscerated through the abdominal defect. This patient also had associated polyhydramnios, possibly on the basis of a functional bowel abnormality.
