Ultrasound demonstrated the solid character of three hypovascular renal masses which were equivocal on nephrotomography and arteriography with intra‐arterial vasoconstrictors. These cases illustrate the value of ultrasound, a noninvasive procedure, in the pre‐operative evaluation of hypovascular hypernephromas.
